ACCOMMODATIONS
Dogs are generally housed in indoor-outdoor patio runs. A dog in a run has an indoor sleeping space, which is heated and cooled with a doorway leading to a private patio. We also have quiet indoor spaces for dogs of all sizes, geriatric or special-needs pets. A dog in an indoor space goes outside into a fenced turn-out area 3 or 4 times daily for potty and exercise time. Additional one-on-one TLC and playtime are also available.
Cats are housed in indoor, tri-level kitty condos.
The entire kennel is heated/air conditioned.
We are inspected regularly and licensed by the NC Department of Agriculture, following the strict guidelines of the NC Animal Welfare Act.
RATES
Daily rates are based on size and type of pet. Check-out time is 1 pm. You are billed for the day you enter, for all subsequent days and for the day you check out if it is AFTER 1 pm. You are not charged for the day you leave if you check out before 1 pm. (Sorry, this option is not available on Sundays and major holidays.) Please note that you are charged for boarding by “day,” not by “night” or by “hour”.

PLAYTIME
Individualized one-on-one playtimes are available in grassy, fenced playgrounds for $5 per 15-minute session. Tailored to your pet’s special needs and pleasures, we feature activities such as frisbee, fetch, exploring, TLC and “lap-time,” with swimming in our pup pool, which is a popular summertime option.
For safety’s sake, we do not co-mingle dogs that are strangers to each other. Playtimes are individual unless dogs are from the same family or are friendly neighbors who are accustomed to being together.
All dogs have an opportunity for safe social interaction with others throughout the day by exercising in adjacent fenced areas. Using this approach, dogs may get acquainted and “chat” without danger of a tussle or disagreement, which could result in an injury.
GROOMING
We are members of the National Dog Groomers Association, and we provide all-breed grooming by appointment. While your pet is boarding with us, it is an excellent time for a professional grooming.
